Psalm 19

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

3 There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard. [ a]

4 Their voice [b] goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,

5 which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is hidden from its heat.

Last Wednesday some of the Body Builders team had the opportunity to go to Faith Love Outreach Church in Philly where Alun Leppitt and The Bridge Christian Fellowship Worship Team were ministering. These guys are a ministry from Southampton, England (you can read a bit more about them a

www.worship2007.com) with a vision to see the Tabernacle of David restored. Of course, the night started with some powerful praise and worship, followed by an equally powerful time of ministry.While God was in all of it, what was particularly significant to me was what followed the ministry time. One of the brothers from England (named Mark) got up and shared a word that the Lord gave him. I don’t have a complete copy, but the gist of it was this . . . God has anointed this fellow Mark, to write poetry and prophetic decrees. Mark said that he was the “pen” of God, who was looking back to another “Penn”, William Penn (an Englishman) who was also used by God. Mark shared that God was speaking forth a new declaration of DEPENDENCE and INTERDEPENDENCE over the city and the nation that was going forth from where we were that evening (blocks from Penn Treaty Park). He also said that there was a new treaty coming forth and a new day of interdependence and dependence that would break the fetters off of the people of Philadelphia and bring the breaking forth of the Kingdom of God. It was a powerful word!

At the end of the meeting, the Pastor of the church asked the members of BBM who were there to come up front to close out the meeting. We weren’t exactly sure what he wanted us to do - I don’t know that he was either, but in obedience to the Lord he called us up and in obedience, we came. As I stood there the Lord laid on my heart that I was (as a Philadelphian) to receive the word that Mark brought forth and to agree with it. I then prayed/declared that the US and Brittan were standing as one, declaring our dependence on God and our interdependence on one another as nations and as brothers and sisters in the Lord. We declared that the Lord was turning the hearts of the children (Philadelphians) back to the fathers (William Penn and the nation of England). This was all followed by another one of the English brothers repenting on behalf of his nation for how they had treated the U.S. during the time of the Revolution, and asked for our forgiveness and prayers.

Lord, bless the country of England! Deliver her from this dark hour as the Church rises up out of its slumber and dead works and displays the glory of God. Make England a beacon of hope and strength in Europe and across the world. We pray increased anointing on our brothers from Southampton and all the other powerful worship leaders that You have raised up in that nation. Bring forth songs of deliverance that would ring out in their land. We stand with them Lord, dependent on You and interdependent on one another.

Another cool thing the Lord did was tell me to give to Mark (the brother who had shared the word) the lyrics to a song that was written by BBM. The song is called “Let Freedom Reign” (the lyrics are below). It is - in part - based on the verse that is etched into the Liberty Bell (Lev. 25:10). I wasn’t sure why the Lord asked me to do that, but I humbly gave him the words to this song - which, quite frankly, after hearing some of his powerful prophetic poems, seemed a little silly written on paper without any music. However, as I shared a bit about the song, and Mark shared the calling that God has on his life, it didn’t seem silly at all. His teary-eyed “thank you” told me how much it had impacted him.

I didn’t think about this until just today (almost a week later), but giving him that song was a fulfillment of a prophetic word (at least in part). We were ministering a few months back at a meeting with Prophet John Mark Poole - during the worship time we played the song “Let Freedom Reign”. John Mark prophesied over us that the song would go to the nations! Of course, I didn’t quite expect it to go as a poem to one individual, but God works in wonderfully mysterious ways. An example of another time when you think you know how God is going to do something and He does it totally different. Lord, bless the seed (the song) that we were able to sow into our brother. May it bear much fruit in England!

LET FREEDOM REIGN

We declare this is a year of Jubilee

Restoring families, setting captives free

Where the Spirit is there is liberty

So let the trumpet sound - let freedom ring

CHORUS

Let freedom reign, Let freedom reign

From every mountain top - His love proclaim

And in our land, let there be

Perfect love, and liberty

May the chains that bind be broken in two

May the life you’ve kindled be lived unto You

It’s the truth of God that can set free

And whom the Son sets free - is free indeed

Bless all the peoples in every land

Let Your face shine on them keep them in Your hand

Be gracious to them and give them peace

Send Your perfect love and liberty

This past Saturday evening, we had the opportunity to meet up with some old friends at a church called The Well, where they were hosting an evening of creative artistic expression - interwoven with worship. We were called in to help do some of the worship leading and well - it was a very blessed time indeed.

On display was the work of many different artists from the local area, and it is always amazing to see the different forms of creative expression that God uses to speak to and through his people - and that we can use to give glory back to Him.

While we worshipped, some painted, some sang, some sketched, some wrote poetry, some danced, and well - you get the point. The Lord was definitely there and there was a great sense of freedom. The worship was awesome - and God was glorified in it.

This is something that on the whole is missing from the Body of Christ - especially in this area. God has gifted his bride with an innumerable amount of different ways that we can, in our own way, glorify Him. It seems as though many of these gifts have been stifled to the point of near extinction in the church. Thanks to our friends at The Well, these giftings are being nurtured and encouraged. We will be praying for this important ministry.
Thanks: Woody, Heather, Phil, Jaclyn (and everyone else)

12 Hour Worship 3/17/07

BBM recently hosted a 12-Hour Worship/Prayer event on Girard Ave in Philadelphia. Several different churches, worship teams, intercessors, and pastors came together to worship God and pray for our city.
Being only a few blocks from Penn Treaty Park, we feel this was and is a strategic location. Among many other things, a lot of prayer went forth concerning the founding of Pennsylvania by William Penn. We repented on behalf of William Penn’s sons who abandoned the vision that he set forth of a “holy experiment”. We prayed for the restoration of this vision, and that we would be used to carry out the vision - just as Solomon carried out the vision of his father, David.
Along these same lines - there was also alot of prayer for the restoration of the Tabernacle of David.
